Hi there, my name is Caroline!

I am an artist and pastry chef born and raised in Sherman Oaks, California.

Carameline is an LA County Certified Cottage Foods Bakery that I currently run from my home kitchen. Nothing brings me more joy than baking for my dear friends and customers! Throughout the year I feature a new selection of pastries centered around seasonal produce. In the mood for something delicious? Head over to the menu and place an order! I originally created Carameline in 2018 as a diary to chronicle my life-long love affairs with both food and art. I have had a wild fascination with cooking and baking since I was a little girl. Not only is it my passion, it’s my therapy and my meditation.

Channeling my emotions into creating visual (and edible) art has been a crucial tool in my recovery from an almost twelve year battle with depression and an eating disorder. Spreading and showing love to others through food has taught me to love myself with the same intensity. I hope delving deeper into my experiences in my writing provides a bit of hope to anyone fighting their way through similar battles. Cooking has not only changed my life, it has saved it.
